Nice Largemouth on a wacky rig

Langer Loc: Lake Havasu City, Arizona

I went out this morning to Discovery Bay in some heavy wind around 7:00 a.m. and it calmed down nicely by 10:00 so I decided to drift a worm across the South bay. I had a purple worm rigged wacky with no weight and an 8 to 10 mile an hour breeze was perfect to drag it across grassy bottom. Got a big hit and then he took me through the grass to get up to my kayak. After I released him I did it a second trip and got a second hit in the same spot just as a Fishing Stage member was kayaking by and I ended up losing him halfway to the boat. But it was funny I've never run into anyone who's a member out on the lake we exchanged some stories. This guy weighed in at 3.94lb.
My brother says all my pictures look alike so I thought I'd change it up.

If they look similar to your Brother ask him where his huge fish pictures are. That’s a good one. Huge fish beaded and the fish even has a grass beard. Looks good from here

Yes Jeremy my beard is new and that bass had about 2 lb of grass hanging on him when I got him to my yak. I did take most of it off before I got the scales out ha.
My buddy calls 'em "Grass Bass"
