Fishing has been good on Mississinewa caught crappies, largemouth bass, and catfish all on crankbaits. However last trip the big motor would not start after being on lake for 4 hours. Still trying to find the problem. Good fishing to all.

Good luck on fixing you motor problem.
Already did that. Putting new battery in hopefully that will solve it.

Sounds like you might be right, good luck.
When you put that new battery in test of voltage should be 12.5 4.6 when you started it should go maybe 13/8 to maybe 14 5 somewhere in there that means it's charging when it goes up when it started Jeff in New York
Hope you get the problem fixed easily
It went to mechanic today. Hopefully it's not something drastic.
A freshly charged battery should read 12.8v 2 hrs AFTER the charger is turned off. While it is charging it should read 13-14v. That’s on the charger and while the motor is running. Could be a bad charger, or the Alternator. If you are getting a “Barely” turning over when trying to start, it’s most likely the battery is bad, or not getting a full charge. Make sure it’s full of water, use DISTILLED WATER, and the connections are clean and tight. What motor do you have ?
Got the boat into shop. It turns out that the shifter was locked up on the motor and wiped out the flywheel.
