Sonoma lake 6/14/23

I got a P.M from Steve (Saw1)yesterday asking if I wanted to go out fishing on his boat and I said heck yea I do! Meet Steve at his place at 7:00am we stop for gas and got to the lake at 7:45am. It was in the mid 50Ds overcast, meet up with a couple guys from the stage at the ramp still above water (Rich) and his buddy, both real nice guys, Iā€™m so bad with names. Was very nice to meet both of them and I hope to get a chance to fish with them again! Anyway the fishing was tough!! We ended up catching 12 Bass a mixture of largemouth and Smallmouth! Caught them on swim bait and rubber craws! Fun day fishing with a good friend! Good luck and be safe!!

Was a nice day. Got a little windy in the afternoon but we still caught fish.
Had a monster bass break water 30 feet from the boat but it wasn't interested in what we were throwin.
Isn't that how it always is. OH WELL !
Wish we could have fished more with Rich and George but I understand. Hopefully next time we'll have more time on the water.

12 fish is NOT a tough day my friends! I have caught a total of 10 fish in my last 3 trips, so enjoy a really good day.
Grats to you both, any fish of size?
