My son came to my house in Ocean Shores WA. We fished 3 days. We only caught one small King on the Third day I ask a fellow fisherman that was at the launch if he had any luck, he told me the GPS cord. It took us 28 miles north and 16 miles west. With 10 minutes we had two fish in the boat. It took another two hours to catch the last two. We had to wade through 15 wild salmon for the last two. We had a shark tried to take one. A 8’ Sunfish actually ran in to the of my boat. My son said it was the best day fishing he has ever had.

My father and his fishing buddies fished out of Westport for years and always got their limits. Another place they always fished was Sekiu. Good luck.

Time spent with your son, catching fish, and experiencing a sunfish running into the boat. PRICELESS. Nice going guys.

Thanks to all that replied. I know that one of the coolest thinks I can do is create memories for my relatives and friends. When you do something that creates a great a wonderful memory they will Cherish it for a life time.

Once upon a time I lived in Shelton and Westport was the beach to go to. We would dig razor clams at low tide, cut the tips off their necks and use them as bait for surf fishing the incoming tide. Limits on both made for a seafood fest. Great memories were made there.

Great times foodfisher. I've done that out of the sound by Edmonds.crab,clams,shrimp. Family.
