I am at Fort Myers Beach, I notice fishing going on the the waters edge and the Pier?

Welcome to the Forum, Fleetwood. I have no idea what that reel is, I even tried to look it up, nothing! Anyway, what I would do is to take a walk out on the pier or on the beach and talk to the locals that are fishing. Find out what they are using and why they are using it. Chances are the gear that you used in Green Bay, the fish bowl of the Midwest, will work just fine down Ft. Myers Beach.
