When changing flies on the water, what do you do with wet streamers? Put them in a separate container, or just right back in the fly box?

Typically just leave all wet flies in the foam on the platform/pocket.

I usually put them on my fly patch on my pack, but I've actually lost a few this way. I think going forward I'm going fabricate a case that has a bunch of air holes in it, and clip that to my pack.

If I am planning well I have an empty plastic thing from the flyshop.

I bring a small container full of fresh water to drop them in when I change flies so they don't rust in my flybox.

I use a drying patch made by C&F Design. It is covered, but open on the ends to let air flow through. The foam has positive hook hold. I've used it for about 15 years and can't remember ever losing a fly from there, and I push through some mighty thick brush and rhodedendrons. Just be sure to empty it out once in awhile.
