Maybe I missed something along the way but how are you going to fasten all the panels together. I wouldn’t think that you would weld them after you’ve painted themβ€¦πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈπŸŸon

All of the joints are a 1" lap joint. Sealing with Loctite Marine Panel adhesive as well as 304 stainless Allen head machine screws and knurled washer flange nuts.

I rather do all of the appointments the same day, that leaves me free time for the rest of the week πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸŽ£πŸŽ£πŸŽ£πŸŸπŸŸπŸ πŸ πŸ‹πŸ‹πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ¦…πŸ¦…

Well, its kinda early but been a busy day. The AC system I've been installing will be finished up tomorrow morning. Should be done no later than noon. Got home a bit early since the temps in that attic got crazy hot, so I worked on monthly billing and banking. Then I snuck out to work on the boat project for an hour or so. Got the last panel prepped and primed. Figured what the heck so started spraying the black acrylic enamel on some parts. I managed to get 5 panels sprayed... 4 left to go sometime this weekend. I have to bond a few reinforcing ribs in that I'll use for wire chase to the roof area for dome lights etc, but then it'll be forward to assembly. Hopefully the rest of the glasswork will be in in about 2 weeks. after its bonded in, I can think about setting up scaffolding to begin the install. I'm getting stupid excited to see it together, but I'm not pushing.. I know it won't be on for the M&G at the end of the month but will absolutely be ready for the cooler Fall weather that I'm most excited about.

Have a great evening Fisher Friends!!

Hey Doug,
Lookin’ good!
I see you’ve got some steel horses just like mine! Don’t you love those? I bought two pair years ago when they first came out, and I’ve never used any better. So adjustable for sloping ground outside or in stairways. I’ve had mine loaded up with a pile of 2x6’s when cutting rafters and never had any problems with weight. Easy to move around, too, cause they are so much lighter than wood horses.

They do work well. I always add a sacrificial 2x4 on the top and put a screw eye hook on one end. Makes it handy to hang a square or other tool while working and then when I fold them up, they hang from the eye screw on the end. πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ˜‰

You're right Billy.
When I get back from the Eagle I'll go see about my knee n my shoulder.

Don't see why they can't do both while I'm out 🀣🀣

Same here, but used a 3” sr screw to hang my Skil saw on so I didn’t have to bend over to pick it up off the ground. Lol
