6/8/23 Caught a lot of perch this morning, but not as good as yesterday morning for size. Had to throw back a lot to get about ten to filet. 3" Gulp Minnow.

Nice green bucket's worth of perch, Andy! Is your sharpener also from Rapala?

i don't know if sharpener is Rapala. I don't think it is. There is only about ten perch in the bucket that morning.

The bite was off for us too yesterday, only got 19 that were 8-9", no jumbos at all.

Hi Andy,
3" gulp minnow sounds a lot cheaper than a dozen blood worms these days. I've rarely tried to catch white perch on Swim baits, but clearly it works. Do you just swim it along the bottom kind of slow or maybe drift the gulp minnow. Just curious thanks.

Yes just retrieve it slowly along bottom with a few little hops. If they are close sometimes I just flip it and let it.
