Right on Four! It’s sobering when I go to the Va hospital for my hearing to see all those who served especially those missing limbs. I used to feel like I shouldn’t be there for “just” my hearing until a fellow vet said to me “anyone of those guys could have been you and always remember those who never came home”.

Thanks Four. I am glad to see your post.
SO many of those brave men never made it home. Thousands never even made it off the boats or drowned when the weight of their gear kept them under the water because the water was too deep where they deployed.
The horrors of war are very different for a lot of soldiers but one thing they all have in common, they all rose to the task at hand because that was their job and what was ask of them.
May they ALL rest in peace.😔🙏

Amen that’s why they’re called greatest generation for sure my papaw landed day after and his brother and some of my other great uncles was there
