Welcome to the stage Robin, from La porte I go to both parks and shore fish on the land in between them

Yes both were on the rocks. We've been fishing there for many years. All my best in the park there have been in that spot. Those were just the latest.
We like Friday and Saturday night at Sylvan pier now that it's open all night on those days again.

Do you catch much on the pier, my luck there hasn't been very good.

No not really. We watch people all day long do great on the pier at Seabreeze and Sylvan Beach. But our experience has been luke warm. Caught more on Seabreeze peir then Sylvan Beach. Morgans Point has some good fishing. Pretty much anywhere out there you can get a shot far enough off the rocks. On the far end where it takes a little turn to a small beach is one of my favorite spots. Bama likes it right there by the parking lot. Seems Sheephead and Big Uglies hang out over there.

Oh Dolphin Park, where the old nursing home use to be.
Hurricane Ike took it down. I miss being able to drive down there. Just drop the gate on the truck and all set. But some kids started going down there doing donuts and playing loud music. The neighbors complained enough the city roped it all off to traffic. Only problem there is the wall about a truck length out in the water out vx c
all the way down the shore.

That's it, my worked in the nursing home at one time. I had forgotten they call it dolphin park. Yeah it's a shame they ruined it, was a good place to set up lights at night
