R.F.P 6/3/23

Meet up with Ryan this morning at R.F.P, it was 49 degrees with clear skies, as we were hiking out to the back part of the south lake Ryan told me all about his trip to Shasta and a few other things it was sure nice to have fishing buddy with me today! Soon after we started to fish Ryan caught the first fish of the day on his second cast!! Not long after I caught my first fish, we ended up catching 9 Bass and 1 nice cat fish! At about 10:30 we hiked to the other side of the lake and tried a couple other spots, we couldn’t get any more to bite so we decided to try the north lake, Ryan caught 1 more Bass there and after a little while we called it a day! I ended up with 6 Bass and 1 cat fish! Ryan I’m pretty sure had 4 Bass! Sure was a good morning fishing with Ryan! I can’t wait to get back at it tomorrow! Good luck and be safe!!

Thanks Ben! I think we made the right decision today, sorta wasn’t sure whether we were going to Sonoma or R.F.P. Rock, Paper, Scissors. Hopefully you can get out on the River and catch those striped Bass! Good luck and be safe!

Me too! Stripers are being to helpful but it slowly picking up but not even sure if the spawn has happened yet or if it's really late in the Napa River. I have been Striper skunked for a while but last time Saw1 hooked and landed three, only one keeper but one was 16 inch pregnant female full of eggs. So trying Tuesday with Nook, hopefully we'll catch a few.
