Grizzly; great selection I use 3 rods with 3 different sizes sounds like you're ready to pull one out of the pond. I just got my BIL to finally catch two on a frog and if he can do it then it's possible for anyone. He watched me for about 2 hours and his next time out he got them. I'll gladly show anyone what I do and perhaps I'll even catch a bass. Everyone is different when it comes to frogs and if you throw one long enough it's bound to happen . My deal is this is all I use and I'm never tempted to switch to another kind of bait. I do change presentations but it's still a frog hitting the water(tree limbs, and bushes included) . Always loved fishing dry flies for trout in my younger days just for that blow up. Frogs really magnify the blow ups. We'll all have a good time just getting on the water together . Start the count down!!!!! ,β³β³β³β³πΈπΈπΈπΈπΈπΊπ²πΊπ²

Hi Andy. My problem is I get stuck on what works.
Till it doesn't. I caught so many on stickbaits n tubes.
I like crankbaits.
Took awhile to get familiar with spinner baits.
Now I want to get a frog bite.
Some areas had alot of slop to fish.
Fishing the Eagle is different than river fishing with docks but I'm learning.
I'm bringing my jet boat. I can get fairly shallow.
I've been counting down since last September.
See ya there brother.

I'll do whatever I can to help you with your quest for a frog fish. I have an assortment of plastics , A rigs, jigs, lures and whatever's but to me I'll stay with frogs even if it means I may settle for fewer fish. But I have found out I catch a lot more bigger Bass( and apparently a Bowfin or two) . Bigger fish seem to really like the frogs " just sayn'" πΈπΈπΈπΈπΈπΊπ²πΊπ²

Griz, I'll be the one truly out of my element. I've been big water trolling for the last 10-12 yrs .. Normal day for me is pulling a spread 200' wide up to 50-60'+ deep..
I hit the Allegheny river last Saturday just for a refresher..lol Gonna be a good time at the Eagle!

Doug first trip I got a LM on a crankbait soon after starting. Lost one at the boat.
Then all I got was 1 catfish a couple perch n crappie.
The wind blew so hard on Monday n Thursday it was hard to throw anything but moving baits.
It's definitely different than Deep Creek lake n Youghiogheny river lake.
Both of them are primarily SM.
The EAGLE more LM.
Waith till y'all see where the old road runs thru parts of the lake π€π€£
