Colorado Luck, Never Give Up

I am a Colorado native. I'll tell you a story, I learned to fish at 9 or 10 best recollection. My dad's. Favorite place was outside of Gunnison Colorado on the Gunnison River. It's a main tributary to California. We use to visit 2 to 3 times a year, spring summer and fall. I had great memories. I all way thought it would be great to cTch on of those big ones hanging on a bars wall. Two years ago I purchase a new fly rod and real "Nexus". So the first time I used it I landed a 37" Brown. It took me 1.5 hours to land it. It was a chore. Natural I didn't have a net and the bank was very steep. I moved to the area to"only fish and die" what a great way to go. Anyhow I had to stuff the brown down one leg of my waiders. So just keep looking maybe you will get your wish...

The best part was crawling up the bank. It must have been 70 degree and 50 ft up. I used a rope I had tied earlier.
