The wife has been sick with a bad sinus infection all weekend. This has put our holiday plans on hold. However I did manage to get in a little fishing at the neighborhood retention pond. I caught 20 nice bluegills and a couple of bass. I caught everything on my two 5foot ultralights.
Not a monster but in an ultralight it was a great deal of fun
All the bluegill were as big or bigger than my hand. Again on an ultralight they were fun to catch.

Andy C put me on to a 5' Ugly stick for stream / creek fishing best investment one could make. Amazing how 1' less was easy to handle better.
