Hello lovers of the water.
Native to CO. And grew up on the Pueblo reservoir. It's never been a challenge to catch fish, until I moved up here to the Denver metro area and started fishing from a kayak. I get a couple once in a While, but I can't even mark them on the sonar. Weirdest thing ever. Maybe it's just a getting used to it phase? Dunno? Any techniques or suggestions about using the kayak would be appreciated.

Welcome to Denver, I mainly shore fish from ponds in the area not quite large enough to justify a kayak but find lots of Bass! I took a small one man pontoon to a place I fish often but was lost as to where the Bass were in the middle. I don’t have sonar yet but if I had I would’ve been looking for any structure like rock piles and trees because that is where I catch them from shore. Hope someone chimes in about not being able to mark fish, I think seeing what the bottom looks like would help! Hope you figure things out soon , good luck!!!
