I am interested in gathering together a small group of adventuresome folks out of the Seattle / King County area who would be interested in investigating and exploring lakes with small boat or kayak access in the Cascades to the North or South of I90.
The goal of this group would be an adventure including pulling each our own boat up to one of the lakes found, motoring or paddling out onto a shore accessible only by boat or foot, setting up a base camp for fishing, camping, cooking, eating for a few days. I think that would be the hoot and would go out there by myself. But in the wilderness, and totally dispersed camping, it don't hurt to have others to watch your back just for safety's sake.
If your interested in the send me a personal message.
To get together with some folks who enjoy fishing, camping and boating. Do research together to find lakes as a group, exploring that data and then plan and execute fun camping trips as a group of two or more into the wilderness. I'm looking for a situation where I can find some friends who can rely on one another in case of situations that could arise, talk, tell dumb jokes and fishing knowledge. Frankly, I'm looking not for some party in the mountains, just folks who like me love the real outdoors fishing and camping but think that two are better than one but the city is a bit crowded.
What are you thinking?

It's an inside joke between the 2 clubs. There are several members in both.
Try watrailblazers.org (the other club is the High Lakers) The good information can be accessed by members only. To join the Trail Blazers it'll take a year or more with participation. They meet the first Thursday of each month in Wallingford. I don't know about the High Lakers.
PM me if you would like to help stock a lake or two.
I don't mean to be without patience but "a year or two" seems like a little longer than what I was proposing. I was thinking this summer. But thanks for the tip just the same.
