Wow the trash around the lake after all the holiday crowds, it really Discussed me there was empty worm containers, Corona bottles, ect ect. today there was even more people at R.F.P then yesterday, that means more trash! Then Monday will be just as bad, don’t get me wrong the park is for everyone, but come on pick up your trash! R.F.P is such a Beautiful place and I take it personal when I see the place getting trashed! So with that said I got to R.F.P at 6:30am cloudy 55 degrees. Started out fishing the north lake catching 1 Bass, after that hiked to the south lake fished 3 or 4 spots no luck, hiked back to the north lake and caught 1 more Bass! Caught 2 Bass today! Lakes were very crowded! I’m taking tomorrow off I can use the rest. Good luck and be safe!!

Nice catching Matt. I hate it when lowlifes abuse public areas like that. Then they're the first to complain when access is denied. When we were kids we were told to bring out more than you brought in. Apparently lot's of people never heard that, and think the world is their trash can.
Glad you got a couple anyway, and you deserve a day off. Have a good Holiday brother.

Nice catching Matt and I do know what you mean about the trash. I simply don’t understand, you carry it in, so carry it out. Is that so difficult? I always carry a backpack with my fishing gear when shore bound and a large garbage bag is part of the arsenal, it invariably gets filled up after a weekend. Excuse my French but WTF?

Trash left behind deeply pisses me off. My wife indoctrinated me to taking two trash bags into river areas we liked and taking back a bag apiece out on the way back...it got so bad it wouldn't put a dent in it. I waged an ongoing war against that when I saw groups of teens and twenty somethings partying, I'd go to talk to them nicely and tell them that they were on private property, which was okay as long as they left the areas they were in picked up and trash free. More often than not a couple guys would get all aggressive and want to know "or what are you going to do?" I told him they can be kept from going on private property. The girls typically would run interference and tell the guys I was being nice and they just needed to take their trash out. One guy said there was already trash in there, I said so what, that means you can leave yours? I told him to clean up the area, take out trash that was there because it was going to result in the loss of using this place. One bunch of guys was getting really obnoxious and aggressive and I told him we had taken pictures of all the pretty lifted trucks out on the road, and if they didn't take their crap out they would never want to risk parking them out on the road. My wife and I were laughing going home, this guy asked was I threatening him, and I had said yeah, that's a fair way to put it, I guess that's pretty much what I just did, take your trash out and you won't have to worry about your trucks being trashed like you are trashing this place.

Tahoe is looking at restricting the use of beaches because of the tons of trash people are leaving behind, I'm not sure why people can't see they are acting like inconsiderate pigs.
