Beautiful fish, Funk. Thanks for posting!
Beautiful fish funk. What type of rig were you using. Since your from brightwood, were you on the sandy river?
I’m using a lamaglass rod my grandpa gave me paired with an abu Garcia ambassadeur and I’m just throwing spoons at the moment but after I get a few chinook I’ll switch up to drifting yarn and corky to use up all this roe I’ve hauled in from this last winter run to free up space in my freezer for more salmon. And yeah I’m putting my hours in on the sandy. I get off work at 330 and make it to the river by 430 and it seems like im hooking one between 7-8 am as of now but once the run is further up I do better at about one an hour or so give or take.
