Was able to get a couple hours of fishing in this morning on Blue Marsh Lake. Caught one channel cat on a nightcrawler.

Very nice. Blue Marsh has not been very kind to me. It’s a beautiful place but it’s the kind of reservoir that you have to fish oftern to really get to know it, I’ll try again this year,

At Blue Marsh I tried a few lures this morning for stripers, musky, walleye, but nothing.
Spoke to a guy that caught six largemouths this morning on top water lures, nothing of any size, he also said a month ago he did better.
Heard of a guy catching two largemouths around 18”s a few weeks ago.
