Private Lake being drained in Pickens, SC for either Dam Repair or Breach. Please come save these fish

We are having some success with locals catching some winners! Here is a picture from last night, 4 bass and several bream! I am grateful they will be filling bellies instead of suffering from lack of water.

Nice catch. What is the size limit on Bass where your at ? Gills are the best eating.

Hi Gary, I honestly don't know that answer, This is a private lake and we are trying to have the fish transferred or caught so there is no major fish kill when the lake is drained.

There is no state limit in a private lake. The rules are set by the owner. Most times in this situation it's "keep what you catch". BTW I've feasted twice and they are delicious.

I saw lots of fish 🐟 kills in NJ.

There is a fish 🐟 kill every year at Robert G Martin Lake in Hamilton, NJ.
