Howdy, y’all.
The Tulalip Bubble opened today.
I’ve done some research and asked a couple friends about recent years action in this area.
Have any of you fished it in the last 2-3 years?
Is it worth it?
I’ve heard it’s crowded, like a lot crowded, with a fairly low catch rate and a fair bit of obstacles (such as lost crab pots).
But the lure of chinook remains….
Any tips?
I got these from a friend:
“Start on the east side of the mouth, just east off the beach. I recall about 70’. Motor NW keep the piling inside, use a green spoon or hoochie or roll a herring gun-barrel tight behind a flasher right smack on the bottom. Slow. The challenge I had was keeping the bottom as it’s a bit hilly through there and traffic can be a MF.”
Thanks!
