Looks like weather is not going to be great for skiing and swimming this weekend, so it looks like fishing. Any advice on what’s biting, where, when and on what would be greatly appreciated.
We will be at a house in a cove near the damn, most fishing will be from the dock, but willing to get in the boat if that is the way to go.

If you are fishing of the dock, stop at local bait shop and grab a bag of sinking fish food. Throw a couple of handfuls of it out a half hour or so before you get ready to fish then as you get ready, sprinkle a handful all around like broadcasting fertilizer. Use some live worms and fish on the bottom. That should catch you some catfish. I do not like to clean them so they are all for fun for us. Grands love it. If you are not having much luck, lift off the bottom slowly and let sit a couple of minutes and then reel once or twice more and see if they are in a different layer of the water. The temp has been crazy and I imagine the water is crazy temps too. If you have good depth off the dock (10+ ft) maybe try some minnows with a stopper cork and try different levels. Tight lines.

I live at top of mtn.across from the justice academy.but u can always walk river from the bridge by lake lure marina or start there at the tiki bar n fish it all way up to bridge where 64 starts up man going to hendo .use any kind of spinner lure or worms with a little float on ur line just deep enough to keep worm off bottom

I skied one time in my life. Mom and Dad were in the boatand pulled me up. We did a app. half mile loopand was dropped of at the end. Skiing over, I coasted into shore, dropped the skis and never went again.
