The Dutch Representative

I was early in boarding my flight for a trip to New York. Since I never liked the stress and strain of arriving at the last minute, I would always try to be at the airport to board early.
Soon a well-dressed gentleman took the seat next to me and appeared to be a wealthy Mexican businessman. After he had gotten settled into his seat, we shook hands and introduced ourselves.
Told him my name and occupation and he told me he was the Dutch Representative for Mexico. There was no question that I was duly impressed. Here I was seated next to a diplomat. I had several questions about the political climate, how he thought Mexico was doing in handling the drug problem and the immigration problem.
He kept saying either he didn’t know or give some other vague response. I finally thought he was a little slow, of was being evasive. Finally, I was more than a little frustrated and blurted out, “I thought you said you were the Dutch Representative for Mexico?” He laughs and says you misunderstood me. I am the Dutch Representative for Mexico, you know, Plymouth, Chrysler, Dodge! Just Sayin...RJS

Well, that didn't really happen, but this did.
Two businessmen were on a flight and an American and Mexican business men were seated side by side.
They had a long, friendly conversation and finally the Mexican businessman said, Why don't you, the United States buy Mexico and run it? Just Sayin...RJS
