Well guys, Ben and I are finally gonna go out to the Napa and see if we can find any that wanna play.
Has ben over a month since we've been out there.
Brad and I went out Saturday and had a 20 fish day. IN 15 MIN.
After that flurry it was all over. Had we not been where we were right then, we would have drawn another blank for the day.
As the sayin go, "Timing is everything." " Location, location, location !"

Good luck there guys. Was Saturday at Napa? Might have some time next week to give it a try. Plus I wanted to check out the Cuttings Wharf storage you had mentioned. Going to pick up my boat tomorrow! Just a little 12'valco with a 15hp, but it'll get me on the water!!

Well, it was a no catch day today.
I hooked one bout 22 inches or so and it made 1 jump and came down on this big tube we were fishin by and pulled the hook. At least I got to see him just couldn't get a good hook set. I was on shore up above where we were fishin.
I was just about to lift my lure out of the water. I had maybe 10 or 12 feet of line still out when it hit. Instead of running with it, it went airborne and spit the hook.
That was the only for sure bite we got.
Ben thinks he had a hit when we were trollin but wasn't sure.
Still waitin for them to show up. Was cold, windy, whitecaps and overcast all morning.
One of these days we shall have some good ole sunshine and warm weather and hopefully some fish to go with it.
