Just got my internet back . I use an old phone to just take pictures then transfer to my other phone when I get home, this way I don't take the chance of losing or dunking my good phone. So here's my catch from yesterday .... Some are small but it always amazes me how much these little guy's eat!!! I did get a few in the 2&1/2# range. Booyah junior straight nose did most of the work ( pearl white belly and mostly worn away pattern on sides and top) also the brown straight nosed Truscend frog got some too it's about 3"long and the bigger frogs tend to entice bigger fish, just sayn'!
Probably won't make it out again till Friday π₯΄. The big pads on the north end have just started to show their tips this week , won't be very much longer till the bigger Bass settle in under them.πΈπΈπΈπΈπΈπΊπ²πΊπ²

Yeah but I took it right down to the band!!!π€ͺ Also these are only 1/2 of the fish caught that day . Thanks for the response. The cigar hasn't let me down yet. Perhaps I might be wise to take a couple??π. πΈπΈπΈπΈπΈπΊπ²πΊπ²

Fredfish, thanks for the response. I think some of the color difference's are because at times the sun was directly in my face and other times it was behind me. That and my editing of darker pics is not always the best. I don't worry too much about the position of the sun as long as the yac's pointed in the right direction for me to hit the water with a cast. I do appreciate every fish I catch and admire them for the differences in beauty and characteristics. You sir perhaps have a keener eye than me to notice suttle differences? π€. I worry more about keeping them in the net untill I get ready to pic and release them asap , they're a resource that takes more than a few years to reach over 4# . I put them back because some person may catch them later and that fish then becomes their PB. So I'll just keep "Rippin'Lips" and get them back into the water quickly.,πΈπΈπΈπΈπΈπΊπ²πΊπ²

You may be right Andy, about the sun angle. When I take mine, if I can't see the fish clearly on my phone, I turn the boat around until it's bright. Having the remote control for the trolling motor helps do it quickly.
Nice bunch of bass Andy! Top water fishing is hard to beat...especially the way you are doing it with the frogging approach! Great photo spread!
