Well it was raining when we started out fishing but the bluegills was biting. We caught around 25 bluegills an one LMB about 15". We kept 19 bluegills. Hazel and a buddy's granddaughter Harper had a great time fishing.

Looks like an awesome day Jimmy, despite the weather. The little ones will remember these days and I'm sure you will too. Thanks for sharing buddy.

Yes I will Fred, the smiles on their faces was worth dealing with the rain. Plus we got some bluegill for our annual fish fry next weekend👍. We have walleye, bass, catfish, bluegill, and crappie 🤗

Does anyone know of a good little pushbutton reel for kids. These little kid reels aren't much these days Kids like them because of the name or picture they put on these little kid rod an reel combos these days

Nice job Whitey and beautiful little grand babies. Those gill’s are pretty healthy looking too. My nephews used similar rods and reels when they were young and my BIL decided to see if they could handle the Zebco 202’s. They never missed a beat even catching redfish on them.

That's really cool, Whitey. The grands seem to be really enjoying themselves, although that look on Harper's face in Slide 6 belies a little skepticism about your unhooking technique! 🤪
