As I was doing the final shopping before heading out on my 4 day fishing trip I was standing at the check out line when the casher said “I need to see your driver license” I was surprised since all I was buying was some coke Zero, strawberries and a disposable BBQ lighter, so I asked what for? She held up the lighter and said in order to buy this I need to scan your driver license to verify who you are and your age, realize tomorrow I will turn 73 so I really don't look like I'm under 18 but I dug out my license anyway and went on my way . But think about this for a minute, I live in a deep blue state where any 12 year old can say they want an a******n or want to change g****rs and with out their parents consent or knowledge they will be housed, and cared for while going through either an a******n or some drug or surgical procedure to change their g****r, and only after it is all done will they be returned to their parents. After all a 12 year old is mature enough and responsible enough to make these kind of life altering decisions without parental involvement, but of course they are not old enough to be responsible for the use of a disposable lighter. See any thing remotely logical here? Also know in my deep blue state all e******ns are done by mail, no request needed for the b****ts to be sent, no Identification or confirmation needed that the person still lives at the address where the b****ts are sent or who is actually returning the b****ts. In my state there is no way we could require someone to show their driver’s license before v****g that would be considered raciest and discriminatory towards the poor since people of a minority or people that are poor can’t afford a driver license or can’t figure out how to get one, but by golly if they want a BBQ lighter they better figure that out or learn how to start their grill by rubbing 2 sticks together. Yes living in a deep blue state is like living in an insane asylum where the inmates are running the place.

Wow Brother. You hit it on the head. As a native San Franciscan I feel exactly what u are saying. I’ve seen my city deteriorate into a cesspool. Our board of supervisors is 80% progressive and only three have lived in this city for more than ten years! They bring their left coast progressive politics here and have no clue what this great city once was. Now they want to create financial chaos by approving r********ns! Really? What about my family? My grandparents immigrated here from Italy. They heard it all, Dago, whap, etc. Words that still exist. Haven’t seen any diversity policies to cancel those terms. My grandfather worked his but off as a garbage man, best job a DAGO could get!. My wife is a first generation Latin American but my children get no consideration for their Hispanic heritage because they have my last name. Really! Not one of the left politicians mentioned a single word about the open border issue when attempting to address the root causes of the problem. When my great grandparents came from Scotland, you had to speak English, have a job opportunity, and come through Ellis Island and get dusted for bugs. The European Immigrant lived with two and more families in a run down apartment/house to afford to live. Kids went to work in mines, potteries, glass houses, and the like to help make a nickel. My dad’s mother’s dad was 8 years old working in a glass factory in Zanesville Ohio. Pics to prove it. Miners pay script-Tennessee Erney Ford sang a song about that-15 tons. They were the reason child-labor laws were enacted. If r********ns are justified, let the African tribes who sold the s***es pay. It wasn’t the white man who ens***ed them. They were a spoil of war, as has been in all history. Your blue states have a box of snakes opened. Going to be interesting to see how that plays out for them. Yep, Grandfather came from Denmark in 1899 as a Master Carpenter and after a trip back, he went back again in 1901, married my Grandmother and they came back thru the now opened Ellis Island. Believed their 7 children should speak the new countries language English and to support their new country. Some of his work in Ornate furniture is now on display in a national monument site. Those were the times you made your own hand tools like Wood Planes. During WW1 he went to work in Seattle shipyard then after the war bought a small farm. Dad told the story about as a kid tearing down the old barn and pulling all those square nails to reuse in building the new barn. Were hard times.
