First, I need to thank Langer for his advice on fishing Havasu. Since this was our first time there, I reached out to him and he generously offered helpful advice. We were only able to fish for a day and a half, but managed to hook and boat a few nice LMB, Smallies, and some Monster Redear (just like Langer said). Lost a few Big LMB, but any time on the water with my son is quality time! Thnx again to Langer for the advice. Next time we’re down in Havasu, I will DM you and hopefully we can fish together. Here’s a couple of pics of the ones that didn’t get away…

Nice LMB and gills Roger! That 3rd pix, holy moley! And you're right about spending time with your boy--that's the real reward. The catching is just icing on the cake👍👍👍

You are welcome Ranger anytime I can help a fellow fisherman is a good thing. There are some big fish in this Lake they're not always easy to catch and I get skunked plenty of times which I did today but I still enjoy myself out floating in a kayak for 4 or 5 hours. That is one heck of a sunfish I see a lot of them around in the shallows but that one is a monster, dd you keep any for a fish fry?
