Spent about 3.5 hrs on the river, did some jigging with no luck! But the trolling paid off, 3 cats, 3 sheepshead, and one 26" walleye. Not much to keep but good fun and enough walleye for dinner!

Nice walleye Papa. You didn't cook up the cats? Welcome to the Stage!

Nice job on the fish! What part of the river were you on? Weather never cooperated for me to get over there this spring. Watched folks launch here all spring wishing I was there lol.

I've been fishing on the Tittabawassee river around Freeland recently and for the past week now I haven't caught any walleye, caught pike, sheepshead, smallys, white bass....but since last Wednesday no walleye....are the still in the rivers?

They're in there, far and in between, but the bay is producing way better, limits in the slot.

Ok, thank you for the update....I had given up hope of catching more in the river thinking that they all would have made their trek back out into the lake.

This time of year I've done good trolling the shallow water on the launch side of the river just up from the launch at Patterson Rd. by the mouth. we used flicker shads and only had them about 10' behind the boards as it is only 6-7' through there.
