Sonoma lake 5/13/23

Woke up this morning feeling like 💩! After a half hour and taking a 💩! Felt much better, So headed to Sonoma lake arriving there at 7:30am 53 degrees clear and sunny! Fished the opposite side of the lake today catching 8 fish! 6 Smallmouth and 1 largemouth and 1 crappie! Water is almost completely cleared up! Hiked back to my car at 11:30am 84 degrees, lots of boats on the lake. Nothing big today but action in every spot I fished! Had a fun morning at Sonoma lake! Good luck and be safe!!

Nice variety Matt. Good job catching them! Is Sonoma C&R only?

Hey buddy. What were they hittin today?
Brad and I are headed out there tomorrow. Probly get on the water bout 0730 or so.
I think we'll stay on the warm springs side again. Don't feel like bein out on the main lake with all the other boats out there tomorrow.

Hey Steve! I was fishing the opposite side of the lake today, I’m fishing the Marina side tomorrow! There’s a good shallow cove over where I was today it almost straight across from the marina boat ramp, thats where I was today, good luck tomorrow!

Thanks bric! It’s going to be a little cooler tomorrow, in the 70ds in the afternoon, hopefully if all goes well I’ll be on my way home by then. Take care!

My son in law was and his were at New Melones today had a 40 fish count, I had a cabinet to paint for a customer .

Hope can get you out here fishing, and I love Smallmouth, they fight like a mule and even when you get the in the boat !!
