Woodguru, thanks for the tip love it fished the striper derby this last weekend. Ran trolling motor 8hr.s Saturday and 5hr.s Sunday mostly on spot lock. 20ft. Pontoon 12 volt Terrova
Held position better than the two blade stock prop.

Nice fish, the prop upgrade still blows me away that a company like Minn Kota wouldn't or couldn't have one of the best possible props engineered. The lower amount of power it takes to attain the same speed with the stock prop is what blows me away, it means many more hours on a charge. Also it runs up to a speed I could switch over to the main motor if I want to troll that fast, there was a zone I couldn't get to without running it hard at 9 or 9.5.

Drifter or Woodguru, can you share the prop information with us. It may have been discussed before and I missed it. My bad.
Is looking up Kipawa props all we need to know?

Jer, WoodGuru did a post on the prop and loved it. I canโ€™t find the post but from what he said I bought one love it keeps my pontoon in position when on spot lock and does seem to use less battery power. I did buy mine on Amazon.

I also bought one of these props. While all the good things said about it are true, I wound up having to take mine off and go back to the OEM two blade prop. I get shallow and in tight spots. The Kipawa prop took a few hits and started vibrating badly. The blades are much thicker on the two blade prop and better suited for my style of fishing.
