Last few times did not do to good in the freshwater. So I figured it was time to do a saltwater shot in Raritan Bay.
First trip I felt a little rusty. From the shore. It was mid morning. The tide was slow and almost all out.
Well it paid off the fluke were there. I caught four on 4" pink gulp mullet, two at 20" and two at 18". CPR

Nice catching Frog! Fluke are delicious.

Great catch on the fluke! I've never eaten one...but I suspect they might taste like small halibut?

That’s a great catch GF, especially from the beach!

That pink gulp is my go to for flounder down here when they get fired up. Can't beat it in our stained water.
