26 inch pike. I was fishing for bass, and I found out why I wasn’t catching bass.

Nice looking Northern Pike! Yes indeed...a predator like that will make other fish a bit nervous! Glad you caught it...they put up a great fight and are also tasty when they come from cool crisp Spring waters this time of year!

I get five filets. My method is all over the internet and works pretty well. Can you explain or guide me to the three filet method? Thanks
With the Y bone, you first cut straight down, behind the gills till you hit the backbone. Then you follow, along the bone to the tail. Then the other two fillets are down each sides.
