Finally got back on the water after missing past 2 weekends! Cold this morning but it was a gorgeous day,no wind. Fishing was a bit slow only caught a handful of dinks & one that was just over 2lb. Pickerel were even slow only hooked 4-5. Water temps were mid 50s & lake was the highest I've ever seen it.

Nice Al, the water looks like glass for that normally windy lake.

Why is it that all these lakes that I would love to try are three hours away? Nice looking lake AL. Glad you had a good day. I was in your area last week looking a campsites on Lake Henry. That was a 500 plus mile round trip

Perfect conditions Brad,on the water by 5:30 & even when we loaded up there was only a slight breeze. Lake cooled off a bit so fishing was a bit slow

We always have a friendly competition,he won the biggest but I got the 1st & the most.

It is private but there's a campground where I can put my trailer by the month or season, then I can fish all I want. I'd have to go on a waiting list and there's a launch fee for the season. The one end of the lake has a lot of underwater wood and some floating islands, the other is more open and where the PiTAs hang out.
