I am looking for a place to camp in the southern Adirondacks, but the state parks don't seem to open until May 18th. I'm not real good on the websites, but reserve America (state parks website) shows all parks closed till the 18th. Am I wrong? Does anyone know of other parks that may be open next week?

If you're so equipped you can stay on state land for 2 to 3 days I believe it is but you have to move without a permit after the two days just find other spots on state land if you're staying longer
