Went out for maybe 90 minutes, would have stayed longer but was not dressed for rain and wind. Caught 4 bass, the guy next to me must have caught at least 8, 2 keeper. Was out on providence/ seekonk river using sandeels

Nice fish, good catching, sand eels are probably the best bait for stripers. What are the regulations there for stripers?
I fish in Maryland’s tidewaters, on the Chesapeake Bay, and in the surf usually a few times a year. The Bay currently has trophy season going on until May 15, fish need to be at least 35”s, starting May 16 at least 19”s, one fish per day per angler.

Nice stripers, Neil, for only being out an hour and a half and first time out this year! Do you mainly target striper in that river? What other species are there?
