I rinsed off the spider webs off the Smokercraft and got wet in the clouds and light wind this morning.. eight hookups, 2 kokanee and 1 cutthroat that measured 14 minches.. on the barbecue tonight...

GREAT PICTURES AND NICE FISH. DID YOU USE DODGERS FOR THE KOKANEE? I AM TRYING AN EXPERIMENT TO CATCH STRIPERS WITH DODGERS. WHAT YOU THINK? CLOSE LEADER, UNDER 12"OR LONGER UNDER 3'? I AM VERY INTERESTED IN ANY REPLY. THANKS

Thanks for the shout... we lived in Modesto for about 30 years before moving to Bellingham 8 years ago.. haven't been back.. Jeep..

That's funny we moved back to Modesto 8yrs from orange county (Yorba Linda )love fishing the lakes up here.

Nicely done Jeep! I've never caught either but would like to some day. Those kokanee don't look very "salmonoid"--maybe b/c they're young?

Yummy! Never having seen one in real life, I always picture them as landlocked sockeye.
