I love it Andy. I had a Bass Pro one before this but had trouble with it, so I tried this one. It's been almost a year and it's working great. It's been cold and wet here for over a week, but it's supposed to clear out for the weekend. I'm probably going out Sunday, it's supposed to hit 70° and be sunny. Good luck with your weather Friday, I hope it clears up for you.
Tight Lines to you and your cousin!

I have no idea what stage the spawn is in, where I'm going. The weather has had the water temperatures up and down in the last month. I like Lizards or stick worms around beds, but will try anything. Wacky rigs always draw strikes too.
Good Luck, I hope your weather clears, and you guys nail them my friend.

I've been using them for years Andy, but only when the bottom conditions are fairly weed free. Most of our lakes have a layer of dead leaves and debris on the bottom.

Those onboard chargers are great, just plug them in when you are finished boating for the day.

Also, a NOCO product that I have on my boat is a jump-starter; it also charges phones, etc. and has a bright frontal flashlight with choices for brightness, also an emergency blinking light that can be set at different blinking speeds. Have it just in case I run my starter motor battery down and it does not turn my motor over. I can use my trolling motor to get back to the launch unless those batteries are also rundown.

I have a NOCO charger in my boat. It has lasted longer than any other charger I have owned.

As to the jump starter I would like to note that many motors today cannot be started with an emergency cord unless there is enough power in the batteries to activate the fuel pump. This is explicitly noted in my Yamaha manual. If this is the case for your motor, you DEFINITELY need something like this jump starter. I have one in my boat.

Check out your motor manual to see if this is the case for your motor.
