Made it up here for opening day and as expected, lots of people around Cassel Baum lake area. I’m sure the rivers are flowing too fast from snow melt so this is the spot that is always fishable. There are a lot of planted trout but most fish are small, 8-10 inch range. There are some nicer fish to be caught but it takes some work to catch and locate them. I caught n released a good handful using jigs and spoons. I did manage to get some nicer fish to keep.

Here in Texas I’m a bass fisherman but man I love trout fishing as well. Good stuff brother.

Nice Trout PNW! It sucks having to fish over the Chain Link fence, must make C&R tough on the fish. Thanks for the pictures.

Those are a couple of solid looking trout, PNW! Must've been a real pain having to cast & retrieve over that fence as Fred said.🤨🎣

Had a guy fishing by me help me out. He hoped the FedEx with my net, Lind handle, and net the fish for me.
