There was a post not to long ago about how long a few of us have been with married.
Here is an oldie but goodie, any truth to it?
A Farmer and his New Bride.
A farmer and his brand new bride were riding home from the chapel in a wagon pulled by a team of horses, when the older horse stumbled. The farmer said, "That's once."
A little further along, the poor old horse stumbled again. The farmer said, "That's twice."
After a little while the poor old horse stumbled again. The farmer didn't say anything but reached under the seat, pulled out a shotgun and shot the horse.
His brand new bride raised all kind of heck with him, telling him, "That was an awful thing to do."
The farmer said, "That's once."

On 02 May 2023 I will celebrate 44 years. Honestly I wouldn’t change anything. Life has been great. Maybe it’s because I was always gone deployments Schools and training. Now that I am retired I just stay away doing other things like fishing, gardening and mostly anything outside. LOL she doesn’t like the outside.

Good morning plumbob, I'm kinda like the old farmer but as you know you can't do that😂but you can trade them in for another one that don't stumble ( if you know what I mean) and so I had to do that a time or two but I found a sure footer now for 24 years come June 1 and she loves fishing as much as I do 😂 hope everyone has a great weekend and make someone smile today😂😂

Good morning and been there to Chuck. You are so right. Got to watch those younger models though, to hard to train.
Going on 28 for me with this keeper. Not so much in to fishing but enjoys the occasional catch.

My wife is 9 years older than me and I have been told that I look older than her, we have yet hat an argument (fish to much for that) so if I'd found her first it would be around 40 years for me....🎣🎣

My wife and I are going on 19 years. I tell her I wish I met her 29 years earlier. Could have saved a lot of heartache. She's a cradle robber. Cassie is 6 years older than me.

True, she makes me happy and I like to think it goes both ways as we get older.
