Usually respond earlier but was up and out by 7am to my rehearsal in NYC. First day back and boy was it FUN!! Got lots of hugs and welcome back from friends not seen in years. A couple new horn players but very nice and good.
Don't miss that traffic tho. Coming home, Lincoln Tunnel was nuts, accidents, construction and pouring rain. Woof.
Concert in Queens tomorrow off the LIE so just have to deal with Canal Street across through Chinatown and over into Brooklyn.
Seems like a lot of youngsters moved in the three years I was ostracized. Going to be a battle to get my jobs back.
And the hustle begins!!!

Good morning, friend. You struck a nerve posting that comment. Our journey, and all its bumps n bruises, that brought us here, is something we're prayerfully grateful for every single day. Winding back to our visits about PFDs- yer zipping down the lake having a ball chasing basses and a partially submerged log throws your rig up, flipping one or both of you into the water. Blink. Life changing. 4th of July 2021 was a blink situation for me and my bride when massive waves from pleasure boaters sent my rig bouncing, a short while later we were in the ER, praying her back wasn't broken. This guy is super careful now, having experienced that blink of an eye. Thanks for posting that.
