Back at Skinner this morning with Rick. In the water at 7 am, caught my first one at 7:10. Was a nice 3.02, and thought we were off to another great start. I picked up 3 more dinks, and then Rick hit a nice one. We have a new honey hole. Made a couple of moves for a couple more dinks. Decided to make one more move to our old honey hole and Rick got a nice 2.5 followed immediately by the big fish of the year for the boat. A sweet 4.53 lb. Not quite as good as Monday, but still a good morning on the lake. Last two trips, 9 fish over 3lbs, and two over 4lbs
Third cast of the day
Rick's biggest for the year, 3.81lb
Rick's newest big one of the year, 4.53lb

Another good day for you and Rick, Garey. Glad to see it's getting back to normal out there, and you've got your Mojo going, heading into the M&G.
Thanks for the pictures brother. Have a safe trip, and show them Northern guys how it's done.

Thanks Fred, been doing pretty well as of late. Not sure if I can keep up with those folks but will give it a try. I just want to survive the trip at my age.

After last year's epic journey, this is a piece of cake.

I'm sure you'll be fine. You're bringing your boat, correct?
DCGravity
Loc: Fairfax, VA (by way of Cleveland OH)
You and Rick are killing it OBG! Congratulations!

No, decided against it. 1,000 plus miles just wasn't in the cards for me. Opted for a safer journey.

Were they still chasing their tales? Square Dancing? Slow dancing? Spawning and yawning?

I guess you're right, I didn't realize it was that far. That's longer than my ride from here to SC. Are you gonna drive or fly up?

Very nice catching O.B.G! That’s not bad at all 9 fish over 3lbs. Last two trips! Congratulations on another successful day out fishing! Now you got me fired up! I’m going to Sonoma Saturday and back to River Front Sunday! After that I will be concentrating on putting everything together for clear lake! Good luck and be safe!
