Hello, I am new here and hoping find new ways to catch fish. I grew up fishing but had not fished in about 30 years till about 3 years ago so I'm still getting back into bass fishing. Growing up I mostly fished for trout in streams and the lakes of northern California. So, I've been fishing with my oldest boy when we went in together on a used boat and I'm still working on the best way to be successful.

Thank you, I agree, I'm very happy with the way things are working out, though I'm in a bit of a slump when it comes to catching any fish, but it's great to just get out on the water, and my son always catches something so it's all good.

Sounds like the son is going to be the teacher on fishing experience. Listen well, its now your turn after years of raising a family. And enjoy that bond as long as you can.
