Conundrum

Free people are not equal. Equal people are not free.

"A gun is like a parachute. If you need one, and don't have one, you'll probably never need one again."

The definition of the word Conundrum is: something that is puzzling or confusing.

Here are six Conundrums of socialism in the United States of America :

1. America is capitalist and greedy - yet half of the population is subsidized.

2. Half of the population is subsidized - yet they think they are victims.

3. They think they are victims - yet their representatives run the government.

4. Their representatives run the government - yet the poor keep getting poorer.

5. The poor keep getting poorer - yet they have things that people in other countries only dream about.

6. They have things that people in other countries only dream about - yet they want America to be more like those other countries.

Think about it! And that, my friends, pretty much sums up the USA in the 21st Century.

Makes you wonder who is doing the math.

These three, short sentences tell you a lot about the direction of our current government and cultural environment:

1. We are advised to NOT judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics.

Funny how that works. And here's another one worth considering...

2. Seems we constantly hear about how Social Security is going to run out of money. But we never hear about welfare or food stamps running out of money? What's interesting is the first group "worked for" their money, but the second didn't.

Think about it.....and Last but not least,

3. Why are we cutting benefits for our veterans, no pay raises for our military and cutting our army to a level lower than before WWII, but we are not stopping the payments or benefits to i*****l a***ns.

Am I the only one missing something?

This was shared with me by Kerry Hansen.

Yep it's a shame Fred. Seen on the news where California is talking about the rich paying more for their electric so the poor does have to pay as much. Talk about S.S. look at the loans they ( the government) takes from S.S. Wonder if that gets payed back and I'm sure they don't pay interest. Also seen where Biden is wanting better off people to pay high interest rate an the not so better off get lower interest rates. Am I missing something, I work an pay my bills an I'll get penalized for it 🤔. What the h_ _ _ is going on 😳

Fred, that says it all....the state of our government in a nutshell. If things don't change, the future looks bleak for future generations.

Glad you posted this Fred, Kerry sent it to a few of us earlier today. Only just a few good points mentioned and so many more.

Yep the tip of the ice berg, and what we don't see under water is going to bite us the more we sail these rough waters.

Or we could do it the other way it always is. The middle and lower classes pay more so the rich get tax breaks and pay less. That is the way it really is.

Research which group constantly tries to get the rest of us to believe Social Security will run out of money. If so why did Don the Con spend it and promise it for Space Force.

All we need to do is consider the source and that will tell you how true any of it is.

Also the constant claims that non citizens can get Social Security. Do any of you that believe this Bull have proof or same ol here say? Without paying into Social Security and following the laws it’s impossible to get paid by it regardless of what someone believes.

yes you could say a lot of things but it doesn't make it true like the middle class and poor pay more taxes so the rich pay less of course the t***h is the top 10% pay 75% of the federal taxes and the bottom 40% pay no federal taxes. but of course you know that

Show me where in that post it says non citizens get social security Jeremy!!! You can't just make stuff up and repeat it over and over.
If you prefer Slow Joe, over Trump , that's your choice to make. Obviously you have no money invested in the stock market, or you would feeling the pain that many of us are. We invested our hard EARNED money, and a lot of it disappeared, due to lack of confidence in our "leadership".

Well put, Fred. Jeremy just blows smoke most of the time. He never backs up anything with a URL to follow up.
