Went to little Juniata on Friday,Grannoms hatch was crazy they were so thick you could inhale them if you weren’t careful I caught everything on dry flys my buddy caught his on red worms it’s a CRAT area, catch and release all tackle,we saw hundreds of brown trout sucking caddis flys off the surface it was crazy beyond belief

The luck was being there to witness the hatch of caddis flys and the hundreds of brownie’s eating them up and this is a wild brown trout river these aren’t stocked and some say it’s the highest concentration of wild trout in the state of Pa I’m a believer now bugs flew out of my vest when I got home 😂😂

Cb : Are these a Golden trout Brown trout hybrid that somehow got released in there and got established?

There what biologists call German brown trout apparently brought over long long time ago and got established
