Buddy and I headed out of fenwick marina this morning and fished out off cone reef in about 24-28’ of water. After I was down 3-0 I started catching on the purple hair jig quickly ended w me ahead 8-6 had two barley legal keepers that I tossed back and was rewarded as all 6 were btw 20-23”. We both had limit in about 2 hours. Nothing more fun than catching any fish on jig and especially walleyes on light tackle. Did I mention it was crowded lol.

Nice catch man, wonder how many in that crowd pulled in, and how many of em went home mad with a dry livewell

Thanks everyone wanted to go back today but looked like wind was gonna be an issue. With it being a 2 hour drive one way decided to stay home and golf w my son. Now headed out to look for some morels to go w walleye for dinner

Good eating there Bassattacker. Did ya find any morels. I went out the other day but didn't find any some people down here are finding black one's 👍

Found a few small greys but left them to get bigger hopefully. Most around here have been finding blacks need some rain and maybe next weekend they will be popping
