I love doing this kind of stuff. A lot of them had their gear tied up wrong so I would rerig and give ‘em good baits. Rewarding when u do that and it works. One kid after fixing got a hook up as soon as he casted. It was a moment for sure

PNW, Thanx for spending the time with those kids. A good many of them will be fishing 🎣 for the rest of their lives now, and volunteering their own time someday for the same thing, too. Honey do list may suffer a bit, but does it ever go away, anyhow ?

The next event is May 20th at Sandy Wool lake Milpitas. If u google Santa Clara county fishing in the city then click on south bay fishing
