Hey Jeff. You should PM Herbert Speas. He fishes Comanche and might be able to give you some info on it.
Hi<>I Have been fishing Comanche for many years....The Bass are moving in as the water warms up....The problem this year is the Pelicans are everywhere and like to run along the banks and gobble up many fish. And soon the bass will be on spawning beds and easy for the pelicans to eat. For the first time I am fishing Lake Pardee and Amador, as they have almost no pelicans. The Bass will have a chance to spawn. I love this time of the year for Bass Fishing. I like to go sight fishing and run along the banks and look for Bass. When you catch a Bass on a bed, if you release it, it will go back to their spawning beds. Look for areas where you can see dirt or sandy areas away from rocks. I like grubs or lizards in watermelon to catch them on the beds. Good luck. Herb.
