When? They have a lot of great places that are weather related unfishable right now. Bait shops when you arrive is best bet for local info.
thanks for your reply, yeah I’m already here so a quick glance out of the window says it all (did not snow when I posted…..)
If you are coming now, it might be tough as the CFS on all rivers and creeks are high, if in SLC area I would try the upper Provo below the dam or the upper stretches of the Weber between Rockport reservoir and Echo Reservoir. Normally late April and throughout May are very good.

With the high water, there aren't many options right now. I recommend going to Flaming Gorge and fish the Green River below the dam. Artificial lure only, it is awesome fishing for huge Rainbow and Browns. The water should be clear enough to see them.

Try some of the local park ponds. They have stocked them with trout. We caught our limit of two fish last Saturday. 3 three lbs and one 4 lbs in Smith park pond in Willard, ut
