The best answer I can give you is to contact you state's fisheries division and one of their staff should be able to tell you if they do stock them in those waters. There is evidence here in Maryland that they are now viable and are reproducing in some areas. The idea of a 20 lb White perch intrigues and excites me, lol. They grow very fast and are very aggressive.
I know they have them in Lake Elsinore in So. CA and we have Striped Bass in Lake Mendocino but are they, specifically "wipers" any water in No. CA?
Just curious!!!
Thanks!!
Not that I've ever heard Ben, There are White Bass in Lake Nacimiento in Paso Robles, we used to have them everywhere around here but DFW eradicated them in the 90's, but as far as "Wipers no "
All stripers are a planted hybrid. Striped bass is not native to the delta. Fish and game does plant them regularly. I do believe it's established enough to have a breeding fishery .
